AmCham Members met Dr. Valéria Csépe, the academician responsible for developing the new National Curriculum (NAT)

Dr. Valéria Csépe gave a detailed overview of the main priorities and current status of the NAT reform, highlighting that a new modern National Curriculum has to be developed, which flexibly accommodates to our changing modern world and which brings technical developments into schools including the teaching of digital skills. The discussion moderated by PTF Lead Andrea Juhos touched upon a variety of issues such as the inclusion of the development of skills and competencies, including digital skills, the reduction of the workload of the students, the measurement of results, the transformation of teacher training and several other topics during the 2,5 hours long conversation.
Participants had a fruitful dialogue and AmCham will continue to advocate for our recommendations summarized in the ‘Cooperation for a more competitive Hungary 2018’ recommendation package and our Policy Agenda 2017-2020.
