AmCham Hungary participated in the Virgin Pulse Thrive Summit in London on March 28, 2018
- April 03, 2018
AmCham dedicates special focus to health awareness and maintaining a healthy workforce and has been encouraging its members to take part in the Global Challenge the world’s biggest and most successful health initiative organized by Virgin Pulse.
The Global Challenge’s cycle of empowerment starts with individuals first becoming more aware of their overall health and how their lifestyle choices measure up. Then they are provided with education and tools they need to make lasting improvements to their health, their performance and their lives. As they begin to feel the benefits of these simple changes, their confidence builds and drives their motivation to push harder, creating a self-perpetuating cycle.
AmCham already engaged hundreds of employees from more than 50 member companies for the 100-day employee health awareness campaign and a global competition!
The central theme of the Challenge is walking more each day, setting 10,000 steps as the daily goal, however, it is not only a walking challenge, it encourages all forms of exercise and activities that can be converted into steps, while helping with tips on healthier nutrition and sleep, for a holistic, well-rounded approach.
The experience is brought to life with an award-winning website and smartphone apps, weekly personalized messages, community message boards, live team leader boards, mini-challenges and trophies. Every member is taken on a journey of daily self-discovery, reward and achievement.
Registrations are open for the new Challenge starting on May 23 so don't miss out on the opportunity and join!
Don’t forget that as a Member of AmCham Hungary we are pleased to provide you with a special reduced price! For more information or interest in participation please contact:
