AmCham channels members’ input on new industrial PhD concept to decision-makers

  • March 13, 2019
As per the request of the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (’NKFIH’) AmCham collected members’ suggestions to help develop a new industrial PhD scheme.

For strengthening the Hungarian innovation ecosystem, the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (’NKFIH’) and the Ministry for Human Capacities are committed to further develop the industrial PhD program concept, and to make the program more attractive. In February, as per the request received from National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (’NKFIH’) AmCham collected members’ suggestions and opinion on specific details of a possible new scheme, and channelled business feedback to decision-makers to help create a new program that better meets the expectations of companies. The goal with the revised industrial doctoral program is to constitute a dual educational system within which the universities providing the program and the participating companies all cooperate to ensure further development opportunities for company employees.
