AmCham and US-Hungary Business Council representatives hold talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

The delegation of the US-Hungary Business Council accompanied by AmCham Hungary president Ferenc Pongrácz and Chief Executive Officer Írisz Lippai-Nagy had a meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orbánin the Parliament to discuss the economic ties between Hungary and the United States of America on June 24.

The parties agreed the economic cooperation between the US and Hungary is a success story, which is also proven by the fact that the US is Hungary’s second largest non-EU investor. The total investment value of the 1,600 American companies active in Hungary amounts to more than USD 9 billion. The Government of Hungary has concluded strategic cooperation agreements with ten American companies.
