AmCham’s Regulatory Committee sends its feedback to the Ministry of Justice regarding the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Within the framework of the Strategic Agreement between AmCham and the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry asked AmCham to send its feedback on the planned modification of Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information ("Privacy Act") which will be modified to harmonize Hungarian law with the GDPR of the European Union to be implemented by 25 May, 2018.
