There are 14 recommendations, of which the first 4 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3., 2.1) are obligatory, and three more of the other, optional recommendations also need to be fulfilled:
- Development of a healthy working environment
- Providing occupational health service consultation, workplace security and environmental protection
- Optimization of workplace and environmental factors by consultation with the occupational expert (from lighting to the elimination of allergen) and the implementation of these
- Providing the opportunity for first aid education at workplacesJoining and supporting volunteer health programs (e.g. giving blood)
- 'Live healthily!' lifestyle package
- Promoting a smoke-free work environmentWorkplace smoking only in designated areasMedical help for giving up smoking, counseling, providing flyers
- NutritionDiet possibilities for employees (low calories, cholesterol and low salt diet, appropriate vitamin- iron- and calcium ingestion)Providing diet consultation (occupational or invited expert)Providing one piece of fruit/day (an apple a day)
- Physical exercise and training program Supporting team sport programs/leaguesThe workplace promotes physical training (at least 50% financial support for sport-ticket)
- Mental health
- Program against alcohol- and drug consumption Providing contact and therapy through the occupational expert to the drug and alcoholism prevention institutes Information on the consequences of consuming drugs and alcohol, in some cases practical presentations are to be held.
- Providing periodical coffee or tea time during office hours
- Recreational events
- Providing mental health consultation also for family members (psychologist, crisis treatment)
- Organizing conflict and time management training sessions/programs for leaders and upper management for making them more sensitive to people's needs if necessary.
- Screening program
- Making campaign-like screening programs (at least once/year)
- Immunization program for adults
- Vaccination depending on the workplace specific requirements and related laws (e.g. against hepatitis, pneumococcus, typhus-tetanus)
- The company pays at least 50% of the fee for other vaccination in the interest of the company (e.g. influenza)
