Advisory Bard on Corporate Social Responsibility (AB-CSR)
Our Objectives
The purpose of the AB-CSR is simple: to offer a new free of charge service to Member Companies by providing support to them in designing and implementing CSR activities.
Who We Are
The Members of the Advisory Board on Corporate Social Responsibility are:
Ágnes Pellion
Ms. Pellion currently works as Head of Marketing and Communications at Ernst & Young Advisory LTD. Among others, she is responsible for enhancing the corporate reputation of the Ernst & Young; developing and implementing local marketing and communications strategies; providing full-scale brand marketing strategies regarding different departments; as well as for managing advertising and media relations including strategy, tactical elements, creative projects and PR. She is in charge of the local Entrepreneur of the Year program of her company and participates in global projects, like the World Entrepreneur of the Year program. She is responsible for developing CSR programs (such as community days, sponsorships, or participating in the Romaster program). She graduated from the University of Kaposvár and has studied at L’IUFM de L’Académie de Nantes, L’Université de Nantes.
István Szabó (Secretary of the CSR Advisory Board)

Mr. Szabó has been working at KPMG Advisory Ltd. in Hungary since 2005, he holds a Corporate Responsibility Manager position currently. His areas of expertise are business performance improvement, compliance and CSR / sustainability related services. István is the national key contact to KPMG Global Sustainability Services Network. He was team-member and project manager of several CSR related international and local surveys, advisory and assurance projects and provides internal advisory support for the CSR development of KPMG in Hungary. Mr. Szabó was awarded the KPMG Way Award in 2008 for his CSR related activities. Prior to KPMG he worked for ExxonMobil BSC, Philips and used to be a member, leader and trainer of international and local NGOs (e.g. AIESEC). He graduated from Budapest University of Economics and conducted management studies at Bordeaux Business School. His diverse knowledge, work experience and entrepreneurial attitude are applied in business and product development initiatives at KPMG.
Iván Jávorszky
“I believe the link between companies and NGOs is getting more and more important – for both sides.”
Mr. Jávorszky was born and raised in Hungary, graduated as a teacher and obtained a degree in marketing as well. Iván worked as a teacher for seven years, after which he joined the Ministry of Labor. Following his work in the Ministry, Mr. Jávorszky started to work in the NGO sector and has been doing so for 19 years. He was the one who introduced Junior Achievement in Hungary and led the Junior Achievement Hungary Foundation for 15 years. For the past three years he has been the National Director of SOS Children’s Village Hungary Foundation and has worked with many US-based companies. In 2005 he was awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and in 2007 by the Ministry of Economy and Transport.
Szilvia Auth
“I believe that CSR is an increasingly important aspect of corporate life as both individuals and companies realize the pivotal role of sustainable, caring and socially sensitive growth.”
Ms. Auth has over eight years of experience in the field of executive search and selection and experience in helping clients / organizations achieve greater organizational performance by recruiting the best and brightest people for their businesses. Since 2008, she has been a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Pivot Human Capital LLC, their clients listing among the most prestigious blue chip corporations. Prior to this, she fulfilled similar positions at Hudson Global Resources and Szabo International HR, having been involved in various local and international senior recruitment projects.
What We Offer
Any AmCham Member Company in good standing can request a one-hour long consultation session with any of the AB-CSR members once a year free of charge. Further consultations will be charged (rates to be determined and communicated later by the AB-CSR) and the incurred money will be used for some charitable goal as per the decision of the AB-CSR.
