The objective of the Alliance is to raise awareness of the importance of the fight against the disease and to communicate to the public that breast cancer is largely curable if people participate in breast cancer screening. The other part of our communication is that the risk of diseases can be greatly reduced through health awareness and keeping the five pillars of health: refraining from smoking, healthy nutrition, recreation, exercise and avoiding stress.

In 2009 the Alliance and GE Hungary placed the campaign to another level; we have begun a corporate internal health communication campaign had been drawn lots of big companies into: GE Hungary, Janssen-Cilag Kft., Johnson & Johnson, Magyar Posta, Magyar Telekom Csoport, Skála Group Kft., SPAR Csoport Magyarország Kft., Evidence Hungary - Zoknitex Kft., Pannon Lapok Társasága Kiadói Kft. és Magyar Lapkiadók Egyesülete, Szerencsejáték Zrt, Pfizer, Provident, Siemens, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge and ERSTE Bank. In this way we reached more than 100.000 people with our messages.

In 2010 a professional campaign had been made compared to the previous pilot project having 17 companies joined: BROKERNET Group, Budapest Bank, Electrolux, Egis, Erste Bank, GE, GSK, Janssen-Cilag Kft., Johnson & Johnson, Magyar Telekom, MKB Bank, Morgan Stanley, OTP Bank, Pannon Lapok Társasága, Siemens, Spar Magyarország Kft, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg Megyei Egészségügyi Holding Nonprofit Zrt.
Our goal is to have as many companies joined as possible all over the country

This initiative suits the CSR activities of firms as we deliver a fully worked-out heathcare know-how and in this way companies are able to show how they take responsibility for their employees’ health.

Our method is really simple; we set up a website where each employee can register and get into a range of information about the disease, the cure, the prevention, and many other issues and also there is a quiz to fill in. The employees are recieved e-mail teasers in every 2 weeks containing the actual health message, an advice of a doctor, an interview with one of the ambassadors or the patron and a notice on the next event.

Last year we organised a reception for the winners and CEOs in the House of Parliament with our supporters from the political and diplomacy elite as well. Mrs Pal Schmitt Katalin Makray the patron of the campaign granted a certificate of merit to the winners.

This year we have made the campaign more interactive with a lot of creative activities encouraging people to get more involved. We are just about to organise every details before we start and we will let the participants know.

Joining the campaign costs 150.000 HUF + VAT (or 150.000 HUF only as a donation). We do hope we will meet you in our team and your company will participate in the program to demostrate taking responsibility for workers.
